I would like to get a second job to supplement my current income. I have been thinking about working at home online. I have heard that there are some good work at home site, but I can’t find any. All I keep running into are scams. Companies and sites asking me for money. That is not what I am looking for.

I wrote a nice big reply for you and for some reason it won’t let me post it. Let me say this, I’ve been earning online for 9 months now and if you are looking for a serious way to make money with no out of pocket costs and all the necessary training, visit the youtube video and then visit my webpage.

Good luck earning online.

What would be a successful at home business to start?

I will be starting my own business from my home/college, and I have had many ideas but I want something that would be successful. Does anyone have any ideas?

Start a blog and add adsense on it. There are many people doing it.
You can pick up info all over the net, use google, search bloggers or professional bloggers.
The idea is to have a place with good info about something, then people will visit it.
If you have ads on your pages when people click on the ads you get paid.
Each click will only generate a small amount, even only 0.05 but the more traffic the more clicks.
Depending on the topic you choose to talk about, clicks can be worth more, it’s all a matter of testing and see what works.
All tools are out there to make your life easier.. at first it is very little money if any at all but when it starts to come in it will happen all by itself.

How much money can I make before it affects my financial aid?

I’m an incoming freshman this year, and I just got an administrative assistant position at a hospital on Saturdays. I’ll be going to school full-time, but I plan on working through the week during the summer. How much money can I legally make without it affecting my financial aid package? Is there a certain amount of money you can make and not have to file taxes?

Ive heard its 6,000 for financial aid before it begins to affect the aid you could receive. As far as taxes go, you need to file always, but I made 3,500 as a soph in highschool and never filed-I was told that they wouldnt have taken anything because I made too little-So I guess you could make so little that you dont need to file, but if you do (which would be in your best interest) you would get a complete refund, even if thats only 50 bucks, thats worth filing your taxes.

I’ve found some good information here…

Good Luck.

What is the best work at home opportunity for stay-at-home moms?

Has anyone ever tried those work at home job oppurtunies? Which ones really work without having to spend a fortune on them?

Many of them work but to find the ones that are best is hard. You can take a look at http://www.squidoo.com/learntoworkathome or http://www.squidoo.com/typingathome. They both have lots of information on working at home and they listed a few of the programs that work best. I think they also have a scam list. Its worth at least a look. Good Luck

You can only obtain legitimate work from home positions from brick and mortar companies.

You want to send your resume out to companies hiring for positions you are qualified for, but include in your resume that you have a home office and you wish to work remotely. Include how you have your home office set up and what equipment you already have in order for you to perform your job.

These jobs are just going to advertised as jobs, they would not promote them as "work at home" because they would hear from too many unqualified people.

Ideally, you would look around for places that don’t ask you for money and while looking for them you should refrain from giving money to anyone.

Why is my answers format different at work and at home?

At work it is normal like you all see it. At home the answers all run together, they aren’t really separated, it’s hard to tell who is saying what. And it all runs in a column on the left side of the screen. Please help.

That is typical of when you have a bad cache file. Clear your history, temporary files (be patient) & cookies, then restart the computer and retry. This HELP link has instructions: http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/yahoomail/settings/settings-13.html .
